On February 25, VICTORIA, sive Vicky, PARNIS née Bajada, aged 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and fortified by faith in the Risen Lord.

She will be forever remembered and loved by her husband Charles, her daughter Charmaine, Keith and Martina, her son Johann, Jake, Monique-Victoria, Donna, sister Elvira, brothers Paul, Charles, John and Joseph, her in-laws, nephews and nieces and all those who were touched by her immense kindness and love.

The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, March 2 and proceed to Cospicua Collegiate Church, where mass celebrating Vicky’s life will be held at 8am.

After the service, the cortège will proceed to the University of Malta, as it was Vicky’s wish to donate her body to the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

To honour Vicky’s life, the family would greatly appreciate that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Community Chest Fund, Hospice Malta or the Association for Abandoned Animals.

Special gratitude goes to the staff at CCF, Hospice Malta, Oncology Department, Mater Dei at MAU 1 & M8 and the palliative unit at St Vincent de Paul for their support, dedication and care in making Vicky’s last years more bearable.

May the Good Lord grant her eternal peace.
