On February 28, at St Vincent de Paul, Intermediate Care Ward 1, MARY ROSE (Rose) MIFSUD, ex-headteacher, aged 96, went to meet her Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Josephine, widow of Charles Naudi, Helen, Annie, widow of Edmund Callus, Sr Salvina of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (tal-Eġittu), Sr Katie of the Society of the Sacred Heart, Margaret and her husband Emanuel Zarb, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège will leave St Vincent de Paul on Monday, March 2, at 1.45pm for St Cajetan’s parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Intermediate Care Ward 1, St Vincent de Paul, and Casa Antonia, and request that instead of flowers, donations be sent to Id-Dar tal-Providenza. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
