On February 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Prof. MARIO BUHAGIAR, FSA, MOM, of Attard, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Liliana, née Porsella-Flores, his daughter Ingrid and her husband Daniel Camilleri, his adored grandson Adam George, his brother Anthony and his wife Marie, née Calleja, his sister Elda and her husband Philip Borg, his in-laws Pierina, widow of Eric Zammit, Renzo, George and Marco and his wife Lorraine, née Sammut, his nephews, nieces, other relatives, fellow academics at University and friends.

Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Thursday, March 5, at 9am, at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed by interment at Attard cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
