On January 27, at St Vincent de Paul residence, PAWLA VELLA, of Mġarr, widow of Karmenu, aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children Paul and his wife Elizabeth, Rita, widow of Emanuel Camilleri, Anthony and his wife Connie, and Mgr Alfred, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her siblings, in-laws, other relatives and friends and her carer Jocelyn Canta Tiam.

The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Friday, for St Mary’s parish church, Mġarr, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Mġarr cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Hospice Malta, Santa Venera, will be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
