On April 27, MONICA XUEREB née Papagiorcopulo, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Maurice, her children David, Daniel and his partner Jana, Nicholas and his wife Anne Marie, and Michael and his wife Rachel, her grandchildren who she loved dearly, Luke, Emma, Maya, Michael, Andrea, Elisa and Eliska, her siblings and her in-laws, all her other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital, on Thursday, April 30, for St Gregory’s (San Girgor) church, Sliema, where Mass to celebrate her life will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Caritas Malta will be appreciated.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Mater Dei’s Medical Ward 5 and special thanks to her carer, Angelica, for her dedication and care.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
