On May 10, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, MARY GAUCI, née Baldacchino, of St Julian’s, (former teacher, St Joseph School, Sliema), aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She will be forever loved and cherished by her devoted husband Paul, her beloved daughter Melanie and her husband Louis Xuereb, her precious grandchildren Jordi and Kaye, her sisters Stella Micallef and Doreen Trapani, their respective spouses, her in-laws, nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, May 14, at 8.15am, for St Julian’s parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Mqabba cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund would be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
