On September 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA ANNUNZIATA, known as Lonzette, DEBATTISTA passed away peacefully at the age of 80, surrounded by her loved ones.

Eight years ago, she endured the loss of her beloved daughter Janet, who passed away from cancer at the age of 47.

Despite this heartbreak, Lonzette remained steadfast, carrying forward her daughter’s legacy with love, kindness and compassion in every way.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her devoted son Charles, who stood by her and cared for her throughout her life; her loving grandson Daniel, who filled her days with joy and tender memories of Janet; her brother John and sister Marcelle, together with their spouses and children; her son-in-law Jean; her sister-in-law Marouska; as well as other close relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima church, Guardamangia, on Friday, September 19, at 8am.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
