On August 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, MICHELINA (Lina) CASSAR, née Calleja, of St Julian’s, widow of John, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family.

She will be forever loved and cherished by her son Ainsley and his wife Christine, her grandchildren Paul and Nicky, her sister Maria, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, August 20, for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
