On May 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE VELLA, of Kalkara, aged 93, passed peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children Lenny and his wife Anne, Marianne, Victor and his partner Jackie, Gino and his wife Patricia, Bernardette, and Martin and his fiancée Margaret, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, May 28, for Santa Liberata, Capuchins Church, Kalkara where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
