On September 13, CARMEL MICALLEF, ex-headmaster and college principal, aged 67, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He will always be deeply loved and remembered by his wife Rita, his daughter Dr Lara Angelle and her husband Dr David Testa, his son Dr Simon Paul Micallef and his most precious grandchildren Emilia Mae and Luca John, his siblings, his in-laws and all their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, September 17, at 9am, for Iklin parish church, where Mass will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

The family would appreciate if instead of flowers, donations are made to Puttinu Cares Foundation.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
